Diagnose

Know what to say, what to show and what to prioritise

Strategic Foundation is a focused engagement for brands that recognise something needs improvement but have not yet assumed that more photography, another film, or a new campaign is the answer.

We examine how the brand is currently understood, where confidence is weakest and which changes are most likely to improve perception, trust and commercial progress.

When Strategic Foundation is the right starting point

It is particularly useful when:

  • your real-world experience is stronger than the way it appears online;

  • different channels tell different versions of the brand;

  • a launch, refurbishment or repositioning is approaching;

  • existing photography and film look good but lack a clear commercial role;

  • your website, presentations or campaigns are not communicating value quickly enough;

  • several possible production ideas are competing for budget and attention.

What we examine

The focused starting scope considers one clearly defined commercial or reputational objective and up to five agreed communication touchpoints.

These may include your website, booking or enquiry journey, photography, film, social presence, PR material, sales presentations or other places where the audience forms an opinion and decides what to do next.

The purpose is not to produce a long catalogue of faults. It is to identify the moments where value is being lost and determine the most useful next actions.

What you receive

  • A pre-session questionnaire.

  • A discovery workshop of up to 90 minutes.

  • Review of up to five agreed communication touchpoints.

  • Diagnosis of the principal perception gaps and opportunities.

  • Prioritised recommendations.

  • A practical 90-day action plan.

  • One presentation and discussion of the findings.

Typical delivery is within two to three weeks.

What happens next

The recommendations may point towards changes you can make internally, a more extensive strategic programme, one of our production Packages or a specific Format.

Production is not prescribed in advance. If the evidence suggests that a clearer message, a simpler customer journey or better use of existing material should come first, we will say so.

Commissioning Strategic Foundation

Strategic Foundation may take the form of a focused diagnostic or a broader strategic programme.

The focused scope covers one objective and up to five agreed touchpoints. Additional audiences, stakeholder interviews, on-site experience review, peer analysis, narrative development or a longer implementation roadmap create a more substantial programme and are scoped accordingly.

Photography, film, design, implementation and ongoing consultancy are not included unless separately commissioned.

Following a short initial conversation, we recommend the proportionate scope and share the relevant investment guidance before preparing a written proposal.

Make the next investment more deliberate
