Huf Haus short clips for social media marketing

The notorious verse “Less is More” by Robert Browning, poet and playwright of the Victorian era – a phrase adopted by Mies van der Rohe – is nowadays more actual than ever.

In this frantic world, dominated by fast-swiping social media content and Amazon’s next-day deliveries, people have lost the pleasure of stopping to observe and enjoy.

To be as incisive as possible, marketing content has to follow the same rule. Therefore, still images and short video clips are the most requested in our creative sector. Nonetheless, a long(ish) presentation video flows nicely and rewards the viewers with more profound and accurate information.

When asked to create visual content for brands in the design, hospitality and fashion industries, our modus-operandi is simple and cost-effective; we make a full-length production – as long as required to tell an enthralling and original story. Then we slice it into shorter stems for any needed media.

As examples, see these super-short videos we filmed at Huf Haus’ showroom in Weybridge, Surrey.

Short clips work well also to create expectation and curiosity in the viewers, who then are drawn into the big picture.

Read the whole story and watch the full-length video we have shot for Huf Haus on this page.

And if you have time to read a book, I suggest Slowness by Milan Kundera (1995). Ohh, you can also find it on Amazon, next-day delivery!
