our newly added set designer and illustrator

If you have read our previous article about Set Design, you know the value of sketching and visualising a scene before the photoshoot.

We love photographing fashion on location. And at the same time, we believe that architecture and interior photography should be made “alive”, introducing other design elements in the scene borrowed from the fashion world. That is, in essence, a lifestyle approach to our services, which we call “space + style”.

When it comes to creating a concept and producing this type of imagery, drawing the scene beforehand is an essential step in the whole process. First, of course, it helps develop the idea, but it is also effective in aligning the team’s understanding of the job and communicating best with our client.

There is where a brand new talent comes on board…

While the world is closing up, we are going in counter-tendency, expanding our team worldwide. Today, we are proud to introduce our new collaboration with the American-based designer Maha Alamri.

The first female Saudi artist to be featured on Billboard, Maha’s passion for expressing emotions through art and storytelling led to her producing and illustrating a music video with V magazine featuring Gigi Hadid and Daft Punk.

Since visual storytelling is one of our USPs, we have found it natural to invite Maha as an active part of our team – les Convoiteurs d’Émotion – in her role of set designer and illustrator.

An extraordinary young talent, Maha is a graduate student at the University of Maryland studying Architecture. She completed her bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture at George Washington University in 2019. She worked as an interior designer in high-end residential design throughout her undergraduate degree to gain professional experience further.

Being born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, allowed Maha to grow up in a diverse community and travel worldwide. Having lived in London, UK, and now in Washington DC, she was influenced by many cultures that shaped her unique style. Maha is always eager to use different art mediums, exploring various forms of artistic expression to grasp conceptual and abstract ideas better.

Exploiting her knowledge in architecture and design with her passion for art, fashion, and culture, she creates a cohesive scenography for our most requested creative projects.
