An Italian (coffee) in London

Lavazza’s true experience for coffee lovers

the coffee beans chandelier by Bilumen

Italians are known for their coffee, but what is it like to taste a true coffee in the heart of London?

Lavazza asked our photographic and video services to document the construction and opening of their first flagship store in the UK.

Lavazza London flagship store, Great Marlborough Street

The first thing you notice when entering our shop is that it’s not just a place to enjoy a coffee – it's a place to experience and learn about the culture, history and ethical production of coffee all across the globe.

The precious coffee bean is also an inspiration in the shop design (Ralph Appelbaum Associates, Carlo Ratti Associati, PLS Design) for a mesmerising chandelier made by hundreds of glowing glass pendants by Bilumen.

Here is a showreel featuring Lavazza London flagship store.

While shooting there, we had the chance to admire first-hand the impeccable service, enjoy the friendly atmosphere and – most importantly – taste great Italian recipes like their hot chocolate with cream, Montebianco special coffee and the unique Panettone experience... tasting is believing!
